Reauthorizing SCORE; changes to SBDCs, Women’s Business Centers
Following a pattern of recent years, the House Armed Services Committee approved several small business provisions in the fiscal 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The measures would reauthorize the Small Business Administration’s “SCORE” program and make changes to its Small Business Development Centers and Women’s Business Centers, according to the bill text released by the committee chairman. There also would be some modifications in definitions and terms used in small business contracts.
